I am writing today because of the incredible help I received from Chaperone4 Home when I was the most overcome and vulnerable.  My husband recently passed and he handled just about everything in our house.  I now had stacks of mail, bills, phone calls from debt collectors and I did not know where to begin.  A friend recommended Chaperone4Home.  I called and they came to my rescue.  Scott, a valued employee of this wonderful enterprise, showed up at my door and put my life back into order.  He organized my paperwork into a semblance that I could understand and start to manage on my own.  The passing of my husband has been an enormous emotional rollercoaster, but at least I have a resource to start using to put my life back on track.

Recently I had to fly into New York to settle the estate of a beloved aunt.  It required emptying her apartment of a lifetime of possessions, sensitive paperwork that had to be shredded, and making plans for her burial.  I didn’t know where to begin because I needed help in a city that I am not familiar with. Chaperone4Home was recommended from a friend and they were a lifesaver.  They knew how to help me organize her belongings and how to dispose of them.  Shredding mounds of paperwork was an easy task for them. The ease in which they put me in touch with people who could further assist me was truly a blessing.  Chaperone4Home were competent, reliable, and knowledgeable.   I will be eternally grateful.

I just found out that I have to be in another state in 2 weeks because my job has moved.  My wife recently had a baby and we are at a loss of where to begin.  Do we pack first, try and sell our apartment and car, get rid of all of our furniture or ship it to our new address which we haven’t even seen yet.  To say we are overwhelmed is an understatement.  Chaperone4Home came to our rescue.  They offered another pair of hands to watch the baby, help us downsize, find realtors to help with the apartment, and even gave us a night out as a couple to celebrate the new job offer.

My husband and I both work full time and we are having a difficult time taking care of my 90 year old mother who is still vibrant cognitively, but has trouble walking.  Negotiating doctor appointments, taking her out socially, and shopping for her has become increasingly difficult for us given our work schedules.  We did not know what to do to make sure she was being taken care of in the way she deserved.  She has always been there for us and we feel we have to do the same for her.  Chaperone4 Home was recommended and they became the added member to our family that could be there for mom.
